Payel Biswas Software Engineer at TechniciseSorshe Ilish/Mustard Hilsa 20 minutes Non vegetarian, quickInstructionsWash and clean the hilsa fish pieces and marinate with half tablespoon of salt.Make a fine paste of mustard seed, poppy seed,two green chillies, with a pinch of salt and half cup of water.set aside.In a large mixing bowl add the mustard paste, black cumin, turmeric powder, sugar, salt as needed,curd, mustard oil,half cup of water and mix it well.Then add fish pieces, 3 slit green chillies and mix it again.Now transfer it to a flat kadai and cook for 10 minutes in medium flame with lid or microwave it for 5 minutes in a microwave safe dish.Delicious sorshe ilish is ready.
